May I know You more and more...

It was a spur of a moment that I will listen to music tracks from hillsong that I knew during work. And one of my favorite song is entitled "On Eagle's Wings"(click the link for the song). The history of this song is way back when I was is grade-school me and my mother always go to church  every Sunday 9:30 am. the Choir there is composed of men only. I really like their songs and voices, and one of the songs that they sang is the song "On Eagle's Wings". At first it was an unfamiliar song because most of the church songs that I knew have this lively music or some sort but this one has a mellow genre. Ever since that time, I have begun to like the song.

The song had lyrics that said, "May I know Jesus more and more..."" when I heard that phrase back again while working, it touched my soul. I want to be closer to God, to Jesus. Everything that has happened to me was been so sad. I got depressed most of time and I selfishly ask to Him for my own happiness, to throw my sorrow away. I have asked Him selfishly. A feeling of guilt is greatly possessed in me. I'm ashamed at myself for asking too many from Him. I forget that I Love God, I Love Jesus and His ways.

May I know you Jesus more and more. This is the request that I ask today, not my own happiness, my selfishness, my pleasure. I want to be closer to God again, I once neglected Him, Judge Him, and even doubted Him. For that you really know how Sorry I am for what have I done. Lead me to your light Lord.
The Bible said in Psalm 36:9, "For with You is the fountain of Life, in Your Light we see Light".
