The Look

Strephon kissed me in the spring,

Robin in the fall,

But Colin only looked at me

And never kissed at all.

Strephon's kiss was lost in jest,

Robin's lost in play,

But the kiss in Colin's eyes

This poem is very deep because it talks about love and kisses, since its febuary its the month about love. First we have to define the word love and kisses, then we expaline the piece of Sara Teasdale made.

As you can see the meaning of kissing and love. At the piece that Sarah is that this not only talks about kiss it talks about how deep the love is to the person. As we rephrase it, Strephon kissed me in the spring, Robin in the fall, both of them kissed the person the love. And, But Colin only looked at me And never kissed at all.- but the other guy never kissed that one he love but as we continue, Strephon's kiss was lost in jest,
Robin's lost in play,- let us change the word kiss into love, the love of both gus are lost or gone in jest or in play, meaning the love was gone imedietly. And, But the kiss in Colin's eyes Haunts me night and day.- let us also change the phrase kiss in Colin's eyes into love, we can know that love does not messures only at kissing, you must express this , earn it and love it. It is not by Kissing that you show your love to another person it is how you express it.
I admit this pice was very short but yet its has several lessons that can be learn and show how deep the love is for the person.
